Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ajirex platform, including our website, mobile experience, and related services (together, the "Platform"), operated by Ajirex Limited ("Ajirex", "we", "us", or "our"), a company based at The Anchor, Oginga Odinga Street, Eldoret West, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use Ajirex

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Kenyan law to register an account. Ajirex is used by individuals looking for work, employers and clients booking workers, landlords and agents listing houses and property, farmers selling produce, and businesses managing a workforce. Each account type is subject to the role-specific rules described below and in-app.

2. Workforce dispatch & jobs

Workers who apply and are verified may be offered casual, contract, or dispatched job assignments through the Platform, including jobs in Eldoret and other locations across Kenya, as well as international job placements facilitated by partner employers. Ajirex does not guarantee job availability, income, or the outcome of any application. Clients and employers are responsible for providing accurate job details, safe working conditions, and timely payment for completed work.

3. Listing & selling houses

Landlords, agents, and property owners may list houses, apartments, and land for rent, lease, or sale. You confirm that you have the legal right to list any property you submit, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will honor the terms shown to prospective tenants or buyers. Listings are reviewed before publication, but Ajirex does not guarantee the condition, legal status, or availability of any property and is not a party to any tenancy or sale agreement between users.

4. Selling farm produce

Farmers may list produce for sale through the Ajirex marketplace. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, the quality and safety of goods sold, and fulfilling orders or inquiries you accept. Buyers are responsible for verifying listings before completing a purchase. Ajirex facilitates the connection between farmers and buyers but is not a party to the sale itself unless expressly stated.

5. Payments

Certain transactions on the Platform — including booking fees, subscriptions, and payments to workers or sellers — are processed via M-Pesa and other supported payment methods. You authorize Ajirex and its payment partners to process such transactions and agree to pay all applicable fees at the time they are incurred. Fees, commissions, and pricing may vary by service and are disclosed before you confirm a transaction.

6. Verification & conduct

We may request identity documents, KYC information, or references to verify your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and not use the Platform for fraud, harassment, discrimination, or any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put other users at risk.

7. Content you submit

You retain ownership of the listings, photos, reviews, and other content you submit, but you grant Ajirex a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating our services.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". Ajirex does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of every listing, or the conduct of other users. To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, Ajirex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with an updated date, and continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
